Every once in a while we see new trends appear in the events industry and this past few years has firmly seen the arrival of vintage weddings and Great Gatsby themed parties. A vintage themed wedding will include everything from a vintage dress to shabby chic elements and a vintage gatsby band is no exception.
If you’re organising a vintage themed party you’ll no doubt be looking for musicians, singers and bands to suit your theme, whether that’s a 1920s style gatsby band, 1940s swing band or a mix up of vintage and modern styles, at Mood Music we would be happy to put some ideas your way – to suit your budget and size of event. We can also offer a floor show with our Gatsby Dancers.

The Mood Music Gatsby Band has recently entertained Brisbane audiences at the City Hall, Ms Fisher’s Garden Party in the grounds of Old Government House, Cloudland, Nickel Kitchen and Bar and many private and corporate events throughout Brisbane, the Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast.

Wow! What a great band. I had a Great Gatsby Garden Party for my 40th Birthday and these guys really made it. The music suited all; from the 10 year olds to the 80 year olds. I employed Mood Music to play at a 1920s themed Lawn Party event. They were fantastic. They created a lovely atmosphere for the event, playing classics from the era. The crowd was up dancing and people were singing along.
