The Mood Music Piano Duo or Trio presents beautiful classical and popular music for violin, cello and piano, performing stylish background music for weddings, receptions, corporate functions and special occasions. From our extensive repertoire list, we will provide the perfect atmosphere for your event.
Our adaptable keyboard provides the rich sound of a Steinway grand piano, so you can enjoy the Mood Music Piano Trio at any venue. Or let us bring to life the real piano at your venue of distinction with live music.
Whether you are keen on keeping to the baroque, classical and romantic era or move through to something more contemporary – we are intent on putting together exactly the right play-list for you and your guests. We are able to take up to two requests that are not on our list – if you want to take this further it is possible but will incur a further fee. Talk to us regarding your requirements.
A piano trio or Duo is a perfect choice for a venue with a grand piano available, such as Customs House, the Hilton Hotel, St Stephen’s Cathedral, Old Government House. This is also perfect when there is a piano available to play in private residences throughout the South East of Queensland. Founded in 2012, these musicians have performed throughout Queensland in many and varied performances and have come together to start & establish as exciting ensembles on the Brisbane scene.
Our mainstay players are Ms Sally-Ann Djachenko & Ms Amy Phillips on Violin, Ms Lynne Backstrom on Cello, and Ms Kathryn Sander on Piano. These musicians have worked extensively in all types of musical situations and pride themselves on their versatility and professionalism. It is entirely possible to perform with our portable keyboard, allowing us to play indoors, in venues without pianos, and outdoor events with appropriate cover and a level floor, near a power outlet. We are highly portable and will fit in to your occasion in every aspect. Talk with us about your plans and we will put together a bespoke concept especially for your event.
