The very best of classic jazz and latin + contemporary repertoire, Kathy Sander on Piano and Bryan Pearson on Bass, create the ultimate ambience for your exclusive occasion. Grand Piano and Upright Bass add that special touch to your event, but we can also bring our own keyboard and electric bass.  We use a quality Bose System for all sound production.

We offer cost-effective and convenient packages pairing up with one of our Bands, or DJ to entertain all guests at your special event. Take the heat off organising your wedding or corporate event, and put your trust in Amica, who have been performing successfully throughout Queensland for the past 10 years.

Your Event is very important to us – big or small.  We like to tailor the music to suit the occasion, taking appropriate breaks; working with the run sheet for the event. We will ensure that we are dressed for the occasion – formal or more relaxed.

These top musicians have been called on to entertain as some of Queenslands’ top events.  This includes the Governors’ Christmas Reception and the annual QUT Business Awards held at the Convention Centre. Latest work has taken Amica to Customs House, the United Services Club, Old Government House, Stamford Plaza and Marriott Hotels in Brisbane, the Kookaburra Queen Jazz Lunch on the weekends,  and the Q1 and Hilton Hotels on the Gold Coast.

Paired with our partner DJ or Full Band, Amica offer an exclusive deal which includes the duo + DJ, or you can go all out with our band as the package deal!

We also enjoy performing as Amica Jazz Trio including our Sax players, Darren McPherson, Craig Spink & Daniel Ford. This adds a different dimension to the band and we really enjoy working with these guys on sax.

We are happy to travel as far north as the Sunshine Coast and Noosa, and as far south as Byron Bay NSW. We do need to factor in our travel surcharge for events outside the Brisbane area.

Why Us

With many years experience as professional musicians, in the Classical, Jazz, and Commercial music scene, Bryan and Kathy have put together a very special combination of styles. Ranging from Bach with a jazzy twist, foxtrots and tangos, latin grooves, the great American Songbook, through to popular songs from all eras, and old school pop.

We add to our repertoire with contemporary songs suitable to our style, and happy to learn special requests if required.  Grand Piano and Upright Bass add that special touch to your event, but we can also bring our own keyboard and electric bass if required.
